Quick Update

Wow, I'm way behind when it comes to blogging. One of these days I'll get around to posting some pictures & stories about the holidays. On the brighter side, Garrick and I are off to a good start on Logan's journal this year. We are trying to write an entry each Sunday. We'll see how long it lasts. I think I made 3 or 4 entries all of last year. Oops.

Most of you have probably already heard our news - we're expecting a little girl in early June. We had the ultrasound on Monday, and she appeared very healthy. We hope and pray that she continues to grow and develop properly. In the mean time, we have lots of work to do. We have a name to pick out (suggestions?), 2 rooms to decorate (We'll move Logan to a "boy" room, and I'm toying with the idea of making the nursery more "girly." It's a neutral yellow right now.), and lots of girl shopping to do. Ok, so maybe not lots, but I will admit that I've already started. I just can't resist a good sale. So, with winter clearance going on right now, I just ordered some cute winter baby girl clothes from The Children's Place. I got 2 shirts, a pair of pants, a dress, and a cute dressy coat for $30. Not too shabby.

Oh, it looks like the boys are done watching their Mickey Mouse show, so we're off to the grocery store. More later.

Sounds like us! I am also thinking of making the nursery a little more girly. Chances are, we'll be putting the baby in the guest room, which is currently painted beige. I thought it would look so cute with pink bedding! And I must admit, I've picked up a few girly clothes during the after-Christmas sales. Who can resist?!?

So excited for you! Wish we lived closer, our girls could be buddies!

So excited! I'll have to tell Sydney to start thinking of girl names suggestions.

Deyce, we are starting to get settled into our new chicago home and I am just catching up on blogs while Hayden is sleeping. First off, I loved your christmas card, you look so beautiful with your long hair. And CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby girl! I was so excited to read that you are pregnant and that all is going well! I laughed at your "Lightning McQueen" stories, Hayden is crazy for a green dragon stuffed animal and after we lost the first one, my mom found a store that sold them and we bought 3, just in case it happens again :) Miss you!
